Wow, you got some real dud 9-5's. I had my '01 9-5 from 159-184k miles and just saw the woman I sold it to driving it up the road yesterday... must be right around 200k now. Of course I had some issues with it but at that mileage it's perfectly allowed to. I liked it enough to replace it with an '04 9-5 and so far it's been good. Just some wear items like brakes, battery, ATF. The DI cassette went too but I'm starting to think those should be considered wear items, haha. I hope to get at least 100k out of this car before moving on... Turbo-X maybe. Mmmm... Anyway, surely if all 9-5's were like yours NO ONE would ever buy one, and look at all of the people who have decent luck with them and keep coming back for more! I guess it's hard to say give Saab another chance when you had TWO examples of absolute sh*t cars, but with the new models coming out in the next few years and new ownership, don't totally forget about Saab for your next cars! Enjoy the Audi and Bimmer!
