Sounds like a problem in the anti-theft alarm system. These cars have door sensors, glass breakage sensor, tilt sensor, motion sensor, hood sensor, trunk sensor, and I may have missed some.
Unless you routinely park on a steep slope, my guess is you have a problem with the driver's side door sensor, or its wiring. A Saab mechanic (either Dealership employed or independent) should be able to plug into your car with their diagnostic tool and identify the source of your problem.
I belive Saab stopped installing the theft alarm siren effective with the 2004 model year which is a good thing for you. These sirens start sounding without cause when the internal batteries grow weak, usually at 2am.
