CPS wire clip

I just finished replacing the CPS on my 2001 Aero (that screw was a total PAIN to remove and replace!) and all is well. However, I didn't locate the clip that help in the wire lead and when I removed the old CPS, it simply was hanging on the wire. I have located the new wire in such a way as to not appear to place it in direct contact with any heated or moving surfaces but, it would be better to replace it per the original design.
Does anybody know where this clip actually is supposed to be installed and is it installed in a vertical or horizontal alignment?
Thanks for any help.
