Let me start by saying I haven’t removed a Saab seat cover. I have removed Audi, VW and BMW. They all use hog rings to tie the center portion of the seat cover to the stringers. You can substitute plastic zip ties for hog rings, although hog ring pliers are not expensive.
It will be necessary to access the under side of the seat cushion to cut the hog rings remove and the seat will need to be removed and a good pair of cutters.
