My in-laws were looking at cars and found a used Saab 9-5. They seemed really interested in it but I actually talked them out of it. They're in there 60's and split their time between southern FL and northern NJ (insert stereotype here).
Neither of their homes is near a competent Saab service center or indy, and I didn't relish the thought of endless "what's wrong with my car" phone calls. They are also of the type who need to keep up with the Joneses, so it really wasn't for them. They ended up with a Saturn Aura and a Lexus SUV.
Let her get her own car and just enjoy your own Saab.
