Bruce, most of those items are replaced at the major 60K intervals according to the maintenance schedule in the manual - (serpentine belt, coolant flush, brake flush, fuel filter, air filter, cabin filter, plugs). I also change spark plugs and air filter in between at 30K intervals, which may be part of the schedule on the earlier 9-5's. Auto trans drain/fill every 3rd oil change or do it 3 times in a row every 60K.
As required: Water pump is replaced when it begins to leak or make noise, probably around 100K, along with the heater control valve which should be done as preventative maint by then. DIC done also when they fail. Rotate tires F <--> R every 10K and I think that's it besides regular oil/filter changes every 5K with full synthetic.
I have found with regular maintenance these cars run very reliably.
