Head Gasket on my 2001 LPT Wagon -- a good reading

I had a head gasket replaced last week on my 2001 LPT wagon at 153,000 miles....I could stand the drip drip drip on my garage floor any longer.
I had placed oven liner aluminum pans (9"x 36") on my garage floor last Christmas, and the car's condition continued to worsen...I had recently nicknamed this car the SAAB-Valdez....
SWEDECAR's mutilple past posts of "if you have a leak near the tensioner...99% of the time it's the cylinder head gasket"--- persuaded me to (finally) do this job.
My indie said the head was still "flat" and needed no milling. (Makes sense as this motor has never been overheated during my term of ownership.)
The head showed oil staining (the first ~36,000 miles of its life were on dino oil) and some carbonization...."normal" in his eyes for a 153,000 mile, 9yr. old car. Very slight pitting in the coolant galleys--again "normal". Cylinder walls looked extremely good.
New NGK BCPR6ES plugs gapped to 0.036". Mobil 1 Truck and SUV 5W-40 oil. Mobil 1 oil filter. Xerex G05 Coolant 50/50 with distilled water.
No drips so far....have had the car back since last Thursday.
The car accelerates MUCH MUCH better after the repairs...indie says this engine, if kept in the same manner, should/could go another 153,000 miles.
