Ok so I decided I would get some CRC Sensorkleen to clean the MAF (smells like a mild brake cleaner). Removed, MAF looked pretty spotless, blasted away with the cleaner (one clean..then another in a few minutes). Dried, installed, tested it in the most extreme ping scenarios and NO PING!! quite pleasantly surprised. The ping was not very extreme to start, but now even in 4th gear manual mode mashing the throttle with AC on, all was quiet!! Now I will try using cheaper gas then the + 64 cents/gallon Ultra 94 I was using and see what happens. TIA all for your advice, fingers crossed.
