Three Speedometer Displays???... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 18 Sep 2009 05:17:20 In Reply to: Verbatim from Saab..., CY, Thu, 17 Sep 2009 18:06:05 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
1) The 270 degree circular speedometer
2) The digital HUD speedometer
3) The "digital" altimeter speedometer located inside the 270 degree circular speedometer.
This "digital" instrument appears to be a 100% analog display to me! If a needle moves across an array of numbers, or a drum rolls forward or backwards to align numbers to a light bar, it is an analog display. Whether the needle/drum is positioned via a digital pwm signal is irrelevent to me. The display is analog even if the driving signal is digital.
