Automatic, 103,000 miles.
Last year about this time I posted of a surging that's happening at 3,000 rpm's, while climbing, between 60 and 70mph. I drive a lot of steep passes in WA state and this is when it's most noticeable. Now, 15,000 miles later, the surging still exists though it could be getting slightly worse, hard to tell. If I really giver some gas the surging will stop upon acceleration and additional power, it only happens when I maintain at that 3,000 rpm level.
My thoughts are that it could still be the throttle body but wouldn't it have given out by now? And I have not cleaned it but I'm going to have a shop do it. When I go at things myself whether a car or bike, I generally end up in the shop so I'm starting there.
Another recent discovery is that one of the front studs has broken off into the head. Could this be the culprit? It has likely been this way for a while.
Otherwise car is averaging 31mph on highway and running great! Thanks.
