Exhaust Manifold Problem with '99 9-5/'02 Vue Motor

I am trying to finish up installing my 2002 Saturn Vue motor in my '99 9-5. Everything has gone fairly well except it sounds like I have an exhaust leak in the front of the motor. The conclusion I have come to is the front manifold needs to be a newer manifold than the '99 manifold. I bought a '01(I think)manifold with rebuilt turbo and install the turbo on my original manifold. I am assuming the Vue motor would be in line with slightly changes made to the block which means I need the newer manifold on this motor. I have tried to figure out the timeline of the manifold changes on the 9-5 but any assistance would be of help. My understanding is there was a change in '00. Was the change significant enough that I can't use the old manifold? The v6 was phased out an some point and I assume it wasn't modified again.
The back manifold sounds OK but I would like to know if there were any changes to it as well? I don't want to damage the engine over something small. Both '99 manifolds mounted onto the Vue motor fine so I'm a little perplexed with this problem. Thanks in advance!
