Probably the original Xenon capsules. (bulbs). Replace them. Eeuroparts has them.
Do a few short-interval changes, like 2,000 miles. This will help to rid the motor of the dirty oil. Buy a case of the MANN filters...
ATF is 3309. Not DEXRON or MERCON. Toyota dealers are supposed to have the 3309 far cheaper than a Saab dealer. There is also a Mobil 3309.

pull the center part of the grille (grab along the center bar, push up and towards the rear in the same plane se the bumper, then slip the bottom outward. WHen the bottom is clear, pull the top down and out. It takes far longer to describe than to do it). The air inlet is right in the middle. If the opening is a long, flat, oval, you have the smaller one. If the opening is larger, and somewhat like a triangle, you have the larger one.
Make sure that you have the PCV#6 mod done. I'm not sure if your car got it at the factory or not. Search here, and you'll see many posts on the subject.
