Sounds illegal? Probably is!
Seriously, on a stretch of empty highway today I put my '02 Aero up to 220km and noticed 2 things which I now question.
Firstly, the car appeared to reach this speed too quickly and without any effort (around 4800 rpm): so how do I guage the real speed - via the SID?
Secondly, the car felt far more stable at this speed than at 185km, almost as if it was being sucked down, or had a magnet on the bottom like a slot car - it felt good. Is it part of the aerodynamics to create this downforce and hence improve stability at higher speeds? Your thoughts please.
