I've done this. The wire normally breaks on the front right, about where the middle of your right thigh rests. If that's the case you don't have to pull entire cover off, just enough to expose that part. There are some good writeups about pulling the seat cover, not hard at all. One thing to remember is that you can't solder that wire, I forget what it's made out of but it won't hold solder, the two broken ends have to be attached with a crimp connection. I took a normal crimp (butt) connector and cut it down so I had a really small piece of metal, just enough to hold the two pieces. Make sure the ends are bare wire. You want that metal piece to be as small as possible because for some reason it tends to create a hot spot at the crimp. I wrapped the crimp in black electrical tape for insulation. It's held 2 years and works great. Good luck, not a bad job.
