Just bought Enercell CR1632 from Radio Shack and replaced the batteries in both keys. Followed schpank's advice when opening the first one with no problems. On the second one, I applied too much pressure in the 'hole', and the mini screwdriver slipped up 45 degrees and slightly split the plastic.
I'd recommend you ensure you're pushing it in absolutely straight, and insert the cover-lifting screwdriver near the rubber side of the key (2003 fob).
It still beat driving down to my Indie downtown to get this done.
