Hi,
I'm close to trading the 9-5 in for a Volvo..... Last thing I want to do but its getting me down now.
The Problem is, Lock the doors with the remote after a run, then come back after say buying a coffee or a paper, then its not starting. Leave it for 5-10-15mins and then it goes again.
This issue is only occationally but its getting to the point where its more fequent. I only bought the 9-5 Wagon as we wanted a more relable car than our old Volvo 240, but the Old Volvo has proved far more relable and remains a favoured methourd of transport.
Work completed on the Saab, recently its had a new bottom end, Breather kit and Full Service. I asked the Saab guy to have a look at the intermitant non start but he just did the service and bottom end work and charged me £1k for the privilige! He has since turned off the Immobiliser and Alarm with TECH2 and Can only think after cunsulting witht he great saab gods in the sky its a Starter Switch. But I'm reluctant to do this as its only occationally and its a big job according to the Saab Guy.
Anyway, I wonder if anyone has a similar situation in the past or is cuntly going through or just come out of this problem!
Love the Saab, hate the problem.
