What is wrong with my SAAB 9-5 Aero? Posted by saabsince 93b [Email] (#972) [Profile/Gallery] (more from saabsince 93b) on Wed, 30 Dec 2009 20:02:01 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I just brought my 9-5 2001 Aero with 141,000 miles for a smog test. I was worried because of the high mileage on the original cat.
After the test the guy did not say anything, but he was acting like it passed. He told me it had passed and had the lowest emissions he has seen in a long time. How low? o2 0.0 hc 0 CO% 0.00 NO (PPM) 0

The tech said that the Saab had a huge cat!
that was a pleasant surprise! My Tahoe just squeaked by yesterday, and my 1990 Chevy pickup needs a cat or something to pass. Luckily my old Porsche is exempt.
any idea why this reading was so low? Not complaining.
