Make sure the load rating is adequate for your car. I am running 205/55/16, Saab recommends that or a 215. I replaced my Gislaveds with Michelin Primacy Alpin PA3's and they are fantastic, quiet on dry pavement and handle well. I just returned from two 220 mile trips through just about every bad winter weather condition, and had no issues. The car felt like it was glued to the road.
