How's the ACC look? Normal?
A couple months back, I noticed that it was hard to see the SID, but thought it was just changing ambient light messing with me.
Next day, I noticed the same thing, and two minutes later, every idiot light in the dash came on, and the car went into limp-home. Got it to the mechanic, and it turned out that the alternator had gone bad causing a gradual complete electrical meltdown.
New alternator & battery, reset codes -- all is right with the world.
Mines an 03 9-5 Arc, so probably about the same age as yours.
FWIW.......
