Non Star Dummy Shark Fin Nut Question

The Non Star shark fin on my 2003 AERO sedan is deteriorated to the point where I plan to replace it with the GM dummy shark fin offered by eeuroparts. They list an attaching nut for the dummy shark fin.
I assume that the original Non Star shark fin has a bolt on the bottom the goes thru the roof and is secured by a nut. Is this nut the same size as the dummy unit?
Thanks for your help.
