stuff yes. those were total bills so incl all the shop fees and other BS. all the DIY stuff is mostly from eEuro so same as anyone else on this BB for $. the dealer stuff is the robbery and quit frankly I am highly suspicious of the fuel pump going bad a week after they replaced the fuel tank. which BTW to them they report had been seeing many of them. cracking where the pressure sensor was mounted. how ironic is that? that one put me in the asylum for a few months!
agree, brake pads and such are wear items. I tell you though. I think I found all these items reported on this BB. "well-known trouble spots" doesn't cost anything less when it happens to you. ;-)
the A/C and the fuel tank were the biggies for sure. I sure do hope the worst is over for a while! I bought it new in July 1999. so it's 10.5 yrs old and frankly I hope it will last another 10 yrs. $2000k/yr in repairs and maint is still way cheaper than a car payment. and I keep it cosmetically prestine (as possible as some things can't be helped).
