hard to say, the prep is where the cost is. to do it properly you should remove all handles, trim etc, but many places just tape over so ask what they do. also will the car need stipped down or does it just need a little prepping, do you really need the whole car painted or really just the top or bottom?
I would say $1000-3500
I do my own paint work and it has been 10yrs since I have "worked in a body shop" but I can paint a car for about $300-400 (materials only) I just fixed and painted the front end of my neighbors Eclipse (16yr old sons first screwup) painted Hood, bumper 1 fender and blended 1 door and 1 fender. paint and materials were less then $100 but it was a small car. their estimate was $500 to paint not including the repairs of fender and bumper
