Steering feels "light"

my 01 Aero with 100K has a very light steering feel to it. Almost like the power steering is too good, or too easy. There isn't a lot of feedback and it takes almost no effort to turn the wheel.
I just finished the rear suspension and was planning on replacing the front shocks, ball joins, and bushings as well as swaybar links. I'm wondering if I should be looking at a new rack as well (I hope not!).
Last time it was in for an oil change the tech said I had a very slight PS leak, probably from the pump. He said they will just keep an eye on it.
I proably only want to get this thing aligned once. Should I do the ball joints, etc then bring it to my mechanic for some "fix" for the light steering?
Thanks in advance.
Liam
