When my pump went, my indy rapped on the plastic fuel tank with a rubber mallet as his assistant cranked the starter. The sloshing fuel moved the pump enough for the car to start so they could drive it into the garage.

Car had all our your symptoms. Fuel pump failures are common after 60k 80k or so.
