Another Serp belt under my belt

A few weeks ago, friends of mine snapped the serpentine belt on their 9-5 Wagon. I'd done them on my 9000, so I mostly knew what I was getting into. Not sure what size the belt was originally, because they lost it on the road, but it looked like at some point they lost the center pulley as well as the bolt was sheared off in the block. Went through with the short belt procedure and no issues.
Recently, I picked up a 9-5 se for a steal and a few weeks later, it needed pulleys as well (and maybe a water pump now that the job is done). I decided to replace the center pulley and stay with the long belt this time. Not sure how most people do it, but they sure as hell don't give you much room. I found that putting the belt back on helped to keep the pulley in place while fishing the bolt down inside. Of course, I threaded it on my first try and the job was finished in no time. THEN, I saw the new pulley on my bench. In the dark and in my multiple comparisons, I'd installed the old pulley. I was PO'd. Decided that there was only one thing to do and pulled out my wrenches. This time, it took about 20 minutes, but finally threaded the bolt and buttoned everything back up.
Just wanted to share another success and share with people my tip of putting the belt on to help hold the pulley.
