Joel, make sure you look for the LATCH symbol for the rear seats. I have MY99 and MY05 9-5 Wagons... the older one doesn't have the under-seat Latch connections for use with car seats.

It is not a big deal really, since most car seats can use either the seat belt method or the Latch method, but if you have special seats, it would be wise to note this difference in older wagons.

and yes, there is lots of leg room in the wagons. See if you can get one with roof rails, to add a Thule carrier, and look for the pull-out cargo floor, which is really useful.
