My favorite Saab wheels. If the clear coat on those wheels is still intact, they'll look really great on your 9-5. I have a set on my summer tires for my black '01 9-5 Aero - they came with the car, a CPO. When they're clean (see below), they look sharp!
I can save you a LOT of headaches down the road:
All of the supposedly "safe" wheel cleaners - you know, the ones where you're supposed to make sure you don't leave them on the wheels for more than 30 seconds - will eventually eat into the wheels' clear coat and destroy it. The corrosive brake dust will also attack the clearcoat. Then the wheels will begin to corrode - ugly.
The BEST way to keep the BBS wheels in great shape is to use something like WheelWax. After I discovered the damage ot the clearcoat, I began to apply the WheelWax stuff to the wheels, after cleaning them as best I could with Simple Green. It keeps the wheels from corroding further.
It goes without saying that refinishing these 2-pc wheels is very expensive.
