... while I agree with the general sentiment that the OEM springs may be under designed, for me until the last year or so, I'd found my situation not so bad. I don't have a lower AERO suspenson so the problem is less crtical. If I could find some aftermarket springs that wouldn't be overly stiff and have to be shipped part way around the world, I might consider them. Co$t is a factor too.
If new OEM rear springs get me back to stock ride height for 2 or 3 years, that will be about it for me and this 1999 car. At $77 each (free shipping) and an evening of DIY labour, I should be okay for that period.
Thanks for your suggestions though. As always, I value all input on this fine forum.
