I did the same swap for a used 2001 Aero suspension on my 1999 9-5 and the slight lowering and stiffer springs were fine enough without being harsh. I replaced the pooped rear shocks with Bilstein HD as the Bilstein Sport are for a more lowered and stiffer riding car. I have contemplated replacing the Aero front struts with Bilstein as well and I've also considered the front and rear sway bar upgrade. I'm riding on Michelin Primacy MXV4 grand touring tires. Smooth and quiet! Good luck for your Saab.
