The other 3 of FSDs on my car are fine. It is a pain that 1 has failed but I'm realistic enough to know these things do happen randomly to all manufactured goods. I fully expect a no-hassle replacement based on my call to Koni North America in the USA. Only hassle is shipping the defective one from Canada after getting a return authorization from them.

In hindsight, I would have gone with the Monroe Sensatracs had I known how stiff the Koni FSDs get at winter temps in Winnipeg. I've had good luck with Monroe on other vehicles in the past. I was "seduced" by the FSD promise of perfomance handling with decent ride comfort made by Koni. Now that I've bought in to the FSDs, I expect they will be on my Saab until I'm done with it in a few years. I only put 15,000 km a year on my car.
