Let me add this annecdote

I had a customer once upon a time. I am not casting aspersions. This was a 96 900 CV.
The customer wanted his car bought back because he could no longer afford the payments. Stick with me, this is relevant.
His concern was that if he sat at idle and opened and closed the top over and over again, the car would stall and not restart. This is the electric motor top of course. The point being that there is only so much a charging system and battery can take. Repo was the end of the story. There was nothing wrong with the car.
