DIY all new pads and rotors. all 4 wheels. new fluid too. brakes are functioning and braking is smooth and even. no pulling when driving or braking. all straight. tested each wheel for function while off ground before lowering.
took out for some 30/40-10 mph braking workins. then some 50/60-10/0 workins. then this morning was driving to work and got lots of scrapping noise from the brakes. of course noticed that the entire pad is not fully seated and contacting the rotors yet (not perfectly set yet). the scrapping noise is obviously the pad lightly scrapping against the rotor while turning. it does get better/worse as move car left or right obviously putting pressure at different angles on the wheels. will this go away as they seat in better? did I do something wrong? I have done this job before but been years so don't remember any of this. just keep driving normally? or more work-ins? any advice TIA!
