The '02 linear wagon is up for new belts for its 120k service. At 60k the dealer put in a short belt, and i believe changed the upper idler pulley. i think i will go back to the long belt.
It seems that replacing the tensioner and pulley are the prudent thing to do along with the belt. Am i being overcautious?
The center pulley is still there, i guess that will have to be replaced, as sitting around for four years and 60k was probably not good for it.
i have gone through numerous long/short posts and still have a few questions.
Do i need to remove the right engine mount and yoke for this? I didn't think so but some seem to have done that. If so the block has to be supported then, can this be done from below or is it a hoist job?
