Hopefully a recharge will do the trick. Or maybe it's something simple, like a bad valve or fitting.
But be prepared to learn that your evaporator has bit the dust, especially given that your car is 9 years old. And then for the fact that they are backordered to Sweden. I need one for my wife's '03 wagon and can't find one. (same unit for all 9-5s). And yes, it will be expensive. The part at eEuro is $660.
eEuroparts web site claims 5-7 days, but Matt there tells me it is likely much longer. He said yesterday that a couple of Saab dealers have even called eEuro looking for evaporators.
