Like Jarrald said, clean the engine to start with. Makes it easier to spot leaks.
Next, be sure the oil filler pipe is properly connected to the engine. I had a leak there in my 9K last summer. It just needed to be reseated.
Actually, I'd worry a bit about the competence of your tech. A leak like you describe should be pretty easy to find.
