2000 Aero mystery oil leak?

With predictable driving patterns, my 2000 aero wagon seems to lose about a quart of oil per week, which is also about a tank of gas.
There are no puddles or drips in the garage.
The car does not and has never smoked, even when cold or driven hard.
PCV was updated and I checked all the hoses, etc.
Where could so much oil be going without leaving a trail or clue??
