Please help quickly if possible.

I found a more comfortable position - relatively speaking - to access the brake light switches. The drivers seat is back and reclined and my feet/calves are resting on the headrest.

This way I can barely get my head under the wheel and my arms are free to move a little


So I finally got around to getting back in here and removed the old switch. Easier than last time. Then I see that there are three part numbers on my switch and one of them corresponds to what the scantech box says on what eeuroparts sent me this week.

However the switch is bigger, and hexagonal instead of square. Also the T between the four metal contacts is oriented in a different direction relative to the switch body compared to the switch I just removed. Is this a problem?

This is switch number two with the green connector not the light switch with the black connector that gave me fits last month.

Should input back my old switch? There is a bit mote room to work with than there was last time. Also helping me is I am in my garage with a portable ac blowing on me instead if working in the humidity outside.
