4/4 engine mounts brand new, fourth (rear lower) replaced yesterday in three hours only at home. Yes, rear mount can be replaced from above; no need to have any special tool but 1/2" extensions. Just slacken the right engine bracket-to support nut, remove rear engine centre nut, three bolts securing it to the subframe, raise the engine from under the vehicle (placing a piece of wood under the oil sump) and, with a lil'swing the old rear mounting will be easily out passing between the alternator and the aquarium.
Car is a manual 9-5 2.3 AERO SW.
