THANK you for your input you have confirmed what we were leaning towards and feeling about the extended warranty. We have certainly used the certified warranty that came with the car - we have had to have several repairs done. However, there were a few of them that we most likely just wouldn't have repaired IF we weren't under warranty. However, there have been 4/5 that HAD to be done. I don't put many miles on it about 1200 a year.
I really appreciate your input on this. We had gotten very nervous when we asked our regular mechanic (he's never worked on our Saab as it was under warranty) and he said YES get the warranty as I do NOT work on Saab's! We are not able to do our own repairs - not versed in that area.
Can you recommend any good repair places - we have been very happy with Tampa Saab while under warranty. Not sure if they are reasonable if we are paying the bill.
