I had me 9-5 in for service today at Quantrell in Lexington, and they finally got a 2010 9-5.
I got to get in it and check it out. I have to say, I liked it once I got in it. The manager said they had 10 on order (2010 and 2011).
The issue I think they will have is who in the world to sell a $56k SAAB to. I discussed this with the sales manager. I think it is a tough sell, and he knows it. I think the 2.0 will be for the SAAB faithful, but I am not sure who the Aero is for. I know who SAAB would LIKE it to be for, but I just don't think it will draw them in. This one had nav and the rear entertainment package which, together were over $4k!!!
In other Central KY news, Quantrell carries Subaru now, and have a nice selection. I know this the hard way, as they moved the SAAB service advisor to Subie service. This made me VERY nervous this morning when I dropped it off. I specifically mentioned the Euro spec 0w-40 mobil 1 oil. I pick the car up - the ticket clearly said 5w-30. I went off on them. The new service guy called the tech and asked, and the tech said, "yeah, I know it takes 0w-40, but you (the advisor) said semi-synthetic 5w-30, so that is what I put in it"
They drained and refilled, but still....that was disappointing.
