Noel, thanks for the instructions on installing the Drawtite hitch. I did it last night, and I got the RHS bolts in after about 30min. But I fought with the LHS for 60min, including trying to use a long yarn needle, having it get caught inside and subsequently having to fish it out of the rail.
Ultimately, I was able to rig a device to pull the bolt through the access oval and along the rail, and down into the bolt-hole. I used 2 pieces of floss attached to the end of the bolt (with a knot). Then I used a plastic pull tie (the thing long kind you use to wrap electrical wires where you insert the end into the eye opening at the beginning and pull through)...the snap tie was pushed through the bolt-hole and inside the frame and down out the access hole (so it was simultaneously coming out of both holes). Finally, I tied one of the floss ends to the eye of the pull-tie and pulled on the pull-tie, which pulled the floss, which pulled the bolt down the rail (but the other floss handed out of the access hole and was insurance in case i needed to pull it the other direction).
In summary:
pull tie--floss--bolt & plate--floss
Hope this helps anyone who doesn't have stiff metal wire to make this operation smooth :)
