I have a '00 9-5 lpt 5spd and its been great. If its a LPT, I would check for blue smoke on start up or blue smoke on deceleration after a hard acceleration, the garrett turbo's in the LPT can go bad early. I got 180,000mi out of mine but some report failure as early as 50,000. I think it is dependent on oil quality and change frequency. I would also check the ACC unit, press "auto" and "off" at the same time and let the unit run its self check. If any number besides "0" is displayed then you have a climate control issue. The serpentine belt, pulley's and tensioner will need to be changed soon if it hasn't been done. Unless you have documented oil change history I would drop the pan to check for sludge and make sure to do the PVC #6 update if it doesn't have it done already. Good luck, they are great cars that last a long time if you take care of them.
