Loose headlight assembly

Have had a problem with left headlight that now seems to have also occurred on the right side of my 2001 9-5. The inner bulb and reflector are loose inside the headlight assembly. Makes it so you cant properly aim the lights as they tend to sag. Is it possible to remove the lens with the light still on the car or does the whole light assembly need to be removed? How difficult to remove the lights?
thanks
