Water pump replacement - help

OK, so after a slight diversion (failed alternator on my Ford Focus), I'm in the middle of the water pump replacement. Have the three attachment bolts loose and all of the connections, except the pipe that goes into the block and the smaller diameter metal pipe that goes into the back of the pump. Bracket removed, but it doesn't want to move. Have both soaking with penetration fluid, but is there some other way to get these off. Looks like the pump has to be off the car to get it apart.
