Sounds like the Blend Door problem. Do a search for this, there is a lot of material here. Hopefully it's only the control arm, which is a $20 part, but a lot of dexterity. It's possible it's the shaft also, which is a lot costlier, though there is an inexpensive rebuild of it, though you'll also still need that control arm. In essence, the control arm was a cheap piece that was not reinforced where it attaches to the shaft that the stepper motor for the temperature control turns it, and thus it is not opening the control gate to let warm air to your side, although the shaft itself could have broken. There had been a good set of pictures for the access to this, don't know if they are still here, you may need to reference at another site I am not allowed to [post.
