Xenon Problem Solved

Over six months ago I posted the following message: "Every now and then for no apparent reason my left xenon headlight will not come on when I start my 2003 9-5 Aero Wagon. The dealer has replaced just about everything, in at least one case twice.
"If the headlight does not come one when I start the car, it will not come on later while driving. If the headlight does come on when I start the car, it will not fail while I am driving. If the headlight does not come on, sometimes I can just turn off the engine and turn it back on again to get the headlight to work. This does not always work. Sometimes if I drive the car for a while and then turn the engine off and then on, it will work."
The dealer, with hands-on help from a Saab (GM) tech, solved the problem, replacing many wires, etc. Because a number of steps were taken before the result was tested, the specific problem was never pin pointed. One initial challenge was the fact that Tech 2 could not communicate with the headlights to find error codes. When the headlight problem was solved, the communication problem was solved simultaneously.
I would like to thank those who responded to my original posting with constructive suggestions. As it turned out, however, the problem in my car's case was not caused by the headlight switch, bulbs, sensors or battery.
