I have been looking at replacing my chrome trim on my front end for the last few months. I have a 2007 model.

I am very finicky about my cars and the reason I would like the replace the chrome trim is that it has become pitted (at 52k miles now).

I know, I know, many do not like the Dame Edna chrome - but I myself do, and I think in future years, it will hold up quite nicely.

I have priced replacing the entire setup with stock parts (three chrome strips on the hood, two headlight grills, and center grill) for a whopping $650 shipped.

I can get the Hirsch "Satin" chrome grill replacement for $421 shipped....what do you guys think? For reference, I am 99.9% sure that flat finish of the 2009 Griffin models has the Hirsch kit installed from factory (at least it looks the same)....I think it would match well with my Parchment Silver exterior color...

Opinions? Keep in mind that I do like the chrome shine look...
