I used the new provided shim, and think I got the old one off, there were alot of partial metal pieces that came off. I'm just checking if there is a metal piece that is part of the cast cylinder you put the pulley bolt into. I really should have taken a picture, it kinda looks like a thick washer. I'm trying to find any pics of the area with the upper idler pulley removed.
