..that's Three Letter Acronyms. Not sure which is ESP and which is TCS, but my 2001 Saab didn't have it - the throttle would back off when I hit snow, but there was no brake modulation at all. My 2003 does use the brakes and it's significantly different; for me it took ESP/TCS from being a net negative to being a net positive.
I'm nearly certain Saab made major changes to the system in 2002.
