Advice on Flex-Tube/Pipe do-it-yourself

Hi,
The flex pipe/tube on my '00 Aero needs to be replaced. I have a quote from a trusted local mechanic, but they're a 40 minute drive each-way. Due to having an auto-club at my work, I have access to a garage with lifts, which is how I inspected the exhaust system to begin with and determined it was the flex tube (after the cat). The flex-tube is a bolt-in part, with many inexpensive parts available on eBay. What advice can folks offer, for someone who might tackle this job themselves? I'm going to try to post pics, using the optional image url feature below. Hopefully that will work.
The bolts look pretty rusted. Is it reasonable to assume that they will simply snap off and be easy to remove and replace, or can this job become a total nightmare, requiring an acetylene torch?
Thanks for the advice,
KevinH
